Error E03 pada Printer Canon MP258 dan Cara Mengatasinya
Mungkin anda juga ada yang pernah mengalami hal seperti kasus di atas atau anda yang sekarang sedang membaca halaman ini memang sedang mengalami masalah Error E03 Canon MP258. Oke, silakan lanjutkan membacanya, siapa tahu apa yang akan saya bagi berdasarkan pengalaman saya akan membantu mengatasi masalah anda.
Error E03 pada canon MP258 memang mengindikasikan bahwa tidak ada kertas yang masuk ke printer untuk mencetak. Hal ini bisa terjadi karena :
1. memang belum ada kertasnya
2. ada kertas tapi tidak masuk
Kalau memang tidak ada kertasnya gak usah dibahas, langsung aja kasih kertas kemudian tekan tombo start. Kalau ada kerta tapi tidak mau masuk ini yang perlu kita atasi. Kita analisa beberapa kemungkinan.
Kemungkinan pertama adanya penghalang pada rol sehingga kertas tidak mau masuk. Misal, ada barang seperti pasir, potongan kertas, plastik atau benda apa saja yang masuk pada rol sehingga menghalangi kertas untuk masuk. Untuk itu silakan cek dan kalau memang ada silakan bersihkan. Cara membersihkannya kalau memungkinan tanpa harus membongkar penutup printer maka lakukan dengan cara menarik atau mendorongnya dengan apa benda apa saja yang penting bisa mengeluarkan penghalang pada rol tersebut.
Kemungkinan kedua adalah matinya sensor kertas. Nah, kalau ini parah dan memerlukan penanganan khusus. Tentu hal ini kalau sudah diperiksa tidak ada benda apapun yang menghalangi kertas untuk masuk tapi tetap saja masih Error E03 maka dapat dipastikan bahwa sensor kertas mati. Untuk itu silakan bongkar dan ganti dengan yang baru.

How to Reset Canon MP258
How to Reset Canon MP258
First make sure that the power cable and usb cable are connected, before you perform the reset procedure. And download the resetter at the bottom of this post.
FIRST STEPS: Entering Service Mode
You have to enter in service mode in order to used the resetter. To do that follow this procedure,
1. Turn off the printer without pulling the power cords.
2. Hold down STOP/RESET button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let STOP/RESET button go.
4. Then Press STOP/RESET button twice then let BOTH buttons go.
5. You will notice that the Alternate Blinking error is gone, this means that the printer is in Service Mode state.
SECOND STEPS: Using the Resetter
1. After you download the resetter, extract it and double click "servicetool.exe"
2. Load some papers in your printer and press the "Main" Button once, wait until the printing is done.
3. Then press "EEPROM Clear" button to clear EEPROM.
4. Then press EEPROM button and the printer will print some text.
5. Then power off the printer(sometimes you have to press twice the power button to turn off) and turn on again. and its done!
Warning: Getting rid of the error message won’t change that you might end up with ink leaking out of the printer if you don’t either replace or clean them.

P02 (Carriage error)
- Make sure no foreign material stuck to the print head railway.
- Clean and check the print head encoder strip cable (timing slit film or encoder strip is a white line on the back of the box set of ink lines may be missing or mess up the ink.
P03 (Line feed error): an error in transmission line entering the line feed (LF) is a signal telling the printer to move to another line or a whole new line that would not otherwise have reached the end of the line.
- Check wire print head position (timing slit disk film) on the side of the machine.
- Check PCB logic board.
P05 (ASF sensor error) sensor for paper feed error.
- Try to replace the following:
- ASF / PE sensor unit.
- Drive unit.
- PCB logic board.
P06 (Internal temperature error): caused by abnormal heat inside the printer.
P07 (Ink absorber full): the Ink Wastepad (sponge) inside the printer is full
- Replace the wastepad inside the printer or install waste ink bin outside the printer
- then Reset counter protection.
P08 (Print head temperature rise error): caused by thermal print head temperature exceeds a threshold.
- Replace the new cartridge print head and / or change a new logic board.
P09 (EEPROM error): caused by corrupted or defective EEPROM chips of the printer.
- Replace the logic board.
P15 (USB VBUS over current): caused by too much current, try removing the USB cable and then plugin again, if solve the error, try to replace with a new USB cable. If the error still exist replace the logic board.
P20 (Other hardware error): The failure of other hardware.
- Try to replace the logic board.
P22 (Scanner error): a scanner malfunction.
- try to change the scanner unit or change a the logic board.
E13 or E16: Ink has run out
- Pressing the Stop / Reset button for 5 to 8 seconds until the led screen display number 1.
E04, E05, E14 or E15: Cartridge may not be installed properly
- Reinstall the ink cartridge.

how to resolve Error 04 CANON MP258
Cause :
Cartridges can not move to the left to the right in because the ink hose snagged by infusion.
Solution:
1. Power the printer must remain ON
2. Open the printer cover
3. Trim the hose printer in order not to hinder the movement of the cartridge drove to the left and to the right.
4. Slide the cartridge notch toward the left end.
5. Close the printer
6. Turn off the printer
7. Turn the printer back
error E08 and E13 Download RESET TOOL
- Download resetter MP280, MP258, MP287, MP250
- Prepare 4-5 in printer paper , because it will be used for the reset process .
- Open the program resetter MP280 series .
- Clear ink absorber in the menu select Main counter then click SET to the right .
- In the menu select Main ink absorber counter then click SET to the right .
- Then click EEOPROM . the printer will print 1 page .
- Canon MP287 printer error E08 which will be normal again .
- MP258/MP250 then turn off by pressing the Power button .
- Completed

Kali ini achepz menjumpai kerusakan printer seperti tertera pada judul posting ini yaitu error P06 canon mp258. Hal ini disebabkan karena printer kelebihan panas,.. Hoh, aneh tapi nyata!
Ada yah hal kaya gitu, hem. hal ini membuat achepz bener-bener bingung. Kok bisa printer itu kelebihan panas, dipanasin tidak, dibakar juga tidak, apakah ada konsleting?? achepz rasa tidak juga.. jikalau konsleting listrik pasti listrik di rumah langsung anjlog, tapi itu tidak anjlog..
Ada apakah gerangan??
Akhirnya bedah bongkar juga tuh printer, setelah berkeliling dunia mencari tahu penyebab serta bagaimana cara mengatasi Error P06 Canon Mp258 ternyata caranya sederhana,yaitu :
"bersihin printer, takut ada kotoran yang membuat komponen eltrolitnya cepet panas ataupun bersinggungan jadi terjadi konsleting kecil"
tapi hal itu tidak membuahkan hasil, setelah achepz bersihin masih saja error. Wah gawat inih, menuju cara yang kedua...
Cara kedua dalam penanganan Error P06 Canon Mp258 adalah ganti motherboard printer.. waduh, ini bener-bener sudah diluar dugaan. Motherboard atau bahasa lainnya mesin printernya ternyata rusak.. mau ganti nyari gantinya dimana?>? wah harganya berapa tuh?

Error B200 pada printer Canon iP2770, iP3680, MP258, MP287, MP278, dan lainnya, disebabkan terjadinya kerusakan atau menurunnya tegangan dari Power Supply Unit (PSU) printer yang menyebabkan tidak stabilnya tegangan printer yang bisa menyebabkan Logic Board (Mainboard) printer rusak, atau bisa juga disebabkan kelebihan panas (Over Voltage) pada head printer dimana head printer bekerja dalam keadaan tinta habis hingga mencapai suhu puncak melebihi batas toleransi.
1. Over Voltage pada Head Printer
Solusinya :
Coba matikan Printer, cabut semua kabel power dan kabel USB yang terhubung ke printer (minimal 1 jam baru dinyalakan lagi) coba test print, bila masih muncul error B200 bersihkan kartrid warna dengan cairan pembersih kartrid dan lap dengan tisu lembut. Atau coba tekan tombol RESUME selama 2 detik dan jangan di lepaskan, kemudian matikan POWER lalu hidupkan lagi, tetap ditekan tombol POWER berikut tekan tombol RESUME 5x lepaskan bersamaan.
Solusinya :
Coba cari printer lain yang sejenis ambil Board Logic nya pasang ke printer yang bermasalah.
3. Kerusakan pada Power Supply
Solusinya :
Ganti Power Supply Printer tersebut maka masalah error B200 akan segera terselesaikan.
