How to Change Default Saving Format in MS Word 2007
As we know Docx is a new default file saving format being introduced in Word 2007 having reduced overall file size. But, sometimes we don’t want the file to be saved under docx format due to many people are still using Office 2000/2003/XP, that make the new file format not fully compatible with existing word versions. Microsoft Office allow users to change the file saving format each tie they save their document. But it is sheer a waste o time changing the file format from docx to doc each and every time when you want to save a file, So permanently change the default file saving format from docx to doc.

- Click Office button,
as located on the left top in word 2007 - On the drop down menu, click Word Options button as located at bottom:

- Under Save documents section, click on the drop down of “Save files in this format”, then choose “Word97-2003 Document (*.doc)”.

PDF stands for Portable Document Format and it was created by Adobe to ease document exchange.doPDF is a free PDF converter for both personal and commercial use. Using doPDF you can create PDF files by selecting the "Print" command from virtually any application. With one click you can convert your Microsoft Excel, Word or PowerPoint documents or your emails and favorite web sites to PDF files.
doPDF installs itself as a virtual PDF printer driver so after a successful installation will appear in your Printers and Faxes list and also in the list of All Programs. Using doPDF you can convert to PDF in two ways:
- Print to PDF via the virtual printer driver doPDF. You would do this exactly as you print to a regular printer, just the result will be a PDF file, not a printed piece of paper.
- Using the doPDF Startup window. doPDF has an executable file (accessible from the start program group) that you can run in order to start a conversion wizard.
Open the document you want to convert (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, WordPad, NotePad or any printable document), choose Print and select doPDF from the list of printers. You will be asked where to save the PDF file and when finished, the PDF will be automatically opened with your default PDF reader. Convert to PDF using the doPDF Startup window

Semua yang diconvert menggunakan aplikasi ini akan menjadi seperti apa yang terlihat dalam file image sumber. Bahkan, kita dapat menandai bagian mana yang ingin di-convert, sedangkan bagian yang lain tidak ikut ter-convert.
